Using this simple Microsoft Office Excel application, it allows you to find out your BMI and BMI status with ease.

**In this "BMI Calculator", a few Excel strategies were used. For example, "Data Validation" were used to for the dropdowns and to limit the choices. Also conditional formattings were used to highlight the relevant cells. Formulas were nested to use "IF...ELSE" given the different conditions - male/female, BMI values etc. Microsoft Excel is a suitable tool to create applications like this. This Excel file had security measures, such as locking cells, protecting worksheet, to ensure that the user does not click and delete the wrong cells.
