"Ask Microsoft Office" (or AMO in short): Making IT applications work for you
To maximise your time on your computer, you need to obtain a clear sense of the methods that are available in IT applications such as Microsoft Office. If you are using a computer for your work or studies, AMO might be what you are looking for.

Ever found tips in the world-wide web, but wonder how you can piece up all the information together? We may have the solution for you with downloadable samples as well as customed files. The idea behind AMO is that we do not dwell so much in the theories (which you will probably find them in many places already), but will instead give you the solutions for you to use directly (and explore on your own if you want to). Call it "problem-based learning".

AMO is also an educational training company, not affiliated with Microsoft in any way, but with more than 10 years of experience and interest in using Microsoft Office applications, hopes to deliver some measurable help for you!
You give us the problem - we solve it for you. No obligations, if no solution can be found.


Most of the services are free as this site is mainly for the benefit of the masses, but at a small fee, we may also tailor them to reflect your project scale and application-specific needs. Beneficiaries of the proceeds(whether as fees or as donations) are education initiatives for communities in Asia (such as Singapore's The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and South America (particularly Peru, Ecuador and Chile).

AMO provides services such as the following:
1) MS Office tips (free)

2) MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, InfoPath, Sharepoint Designer/FrontPage, Visio etc) (free or probably at a fee if customised - just tell us the problem)

3) Conversions (likely to be at a fee) such as
- from pictures or text to Word/pdf documents
- from powerpoint to movie file formats

4) Data entry (at a fee)

5) Translation and transcription (English, Chinese and Spanish ) (at a fee)

and others.
